What We Do
Design. Build. Deliver — under one roof.
We solve geotechnical problems
that last.
GeoStabilization New Zealand Ltd works across a wide range of settings — steep hillsides, busy arterials, remote river bluffs, and constrained urban sites. When unstable ground threatens your project or community, we bring the engineering, the equipment, and the field experience to fix it properly — not just temporarily.
Unlike most contractors, we don't separate design from construction. The engineers who model your problem are the ones who build the solution. One team, one contract, one point of accountability. That's how we deliver faster, cheaper, and with fewer surprises than the traditional multi-firm approach.
Design
Before any equipment arrives on site, our in-house geotechnical engineers and geologists assess the hazard, model the ground conditions, and produce a construction-ready design. Not a spec sheet to be tendered out — a solution engineered with buildability in mind from the first conversation.
Because our designers are also our builders, there are no scope gaps between design intent and construction reality. No costly change orders when the contractor discovers the specification doesn't match the ground. Every solution is designed to be built efficiently, safely, and within the agreed budget.
Build
Our field crews deploy faster and reach further than standard civil contractors. IRATA-certified rope access technicians, specialist rock drillers, and purpose-built equipment mean we can work safely on cliffs, steep slopes, and confined sites where others won't go — without waiting weeks to build access infrastructure.
Everything is kept in-house. Rock drilling, rope access, specialist grouting, ground anchoring — one team, full capability. That means tighter quality control, faster on-site problem-solving, and a single team accountable for the complete result.

Deliver
We've completed over 10,000 projects across Australasia and North America. Our track record spans emergency State Highway repairs, large-scale landslide remediation, complex urban ground improvement, and first-in-New Zealand technology deployments — including in-situ trench mixing and deep soil mixing for landslide repair.
Every project includes full documentation — QA records, as-built drawings, monitoring reports where required. Exceptional value doesn't mean cheapest bid; it means the most cost-effective solution across the full lifecycle of your asset.
