The Team Behind Every Project
In-house engineers, geologists, and field crews — the same team from first assessment through to the final anchor.
One integrated team. No hand-offs.
At GSI, the engineers who assess your site are the same people who design the solution and oversee the crews who build it. There are no gaps between designer intent and contractor execution — because they are the same people. Our New Zealand team combines global technical depth with direct knowledge of the distinctive geology of these islands.
When you meet a GSI engineer, you are meeting someone who has stood on the slope you are asking about, and who will be on the phone at 2am if conditions change.
HOW WE'RE STRUCTURED
LEADERSHIP & ENGINEERING
GSI New Zealand's leadership team combines business development, project management, and deep technical engineering. Our engineers hold qualifications across civil engineering, engineering geology, and geotechnical engineering — supported by postgraduate credentials and decades of hands-on field experience across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.
FIELD CREWS & SPECIALISTS
Behind our leadership team is a roster of trained field crews, IRATA-certified rope access technicians, and specialist equipment operators. All field staff are directly employed by GSI New Zealand — no sub-contractors, no unknown quantities on site. The same crew that mobilises on day one is the crew that finishes the job.
